Frequently asked questions about

Images

  1. What are the use cases for Images?
Scriptmatix’s image generation serves multiple purposes: aiding screenplay visualization for writers, enhancing pitches or pitch decks, boosting marketing efforts, assisting in pre-production planning, enriching script readings, inspiring creativity, and increasing audience engagement with visual representations of scripts. Many filmmakers also use the images to assemble their own audio/visual content outside of Scriptmatix. The main benefit is the speed and quality of output. What would take a human months to generate through prompting can be done with Scriptmatix within a matter of hours.
  2. How many images will I receive for my screenplay? You will receive approximately 20-80 images per page.
  3. Can I request specific styles or themes for the images? Absolutely, at the point of checkout, you have the option to mention movies that are comparable to your vision. It’s best to be clear and concise in your description. If you mention a wide range of ten comparable movies with distinctly different cinematic styles, it could lead to a diverse array of imagery in your project. This variety might not align with your specific desires, so it’s advisable to keep your references focused and consistent to ensure the final imagery meets your expectations.
  4. What is the process for converting screenplays into images? We generate an image per line of the screenplay.
  5. How do you ensure the images accurately reflect the screenplay content? The images will be according to the guidelines you provide at checkout. Your casting choices will be utilized and your vision and comparables will be referenced. However, keep in mind that not every image will be perfect (this is why we provide such quantity). Continuity in wardrobe or appearance of a character may vary, including features of a location. The era of certain shots may vary unless this era is specifically and overtly stated in the scene of the screenplay.
  6. What file formats are the images delivered in? You will receive PNG image files.
  7. Is there a revision process for the images created? If you want to regenerate images with new guidelines, you will need to regenerate.
  8. How accurate are the images of the actors/celebrities that I use in my images?
They will resemble the individual, sometimes more than others, but should like look exactly like them.
  9. How long does it take to receive the images after submitting a screenplay? Depending on the amount of pages, you can expect a full 100-page screenplay (approximately 6,000 images) to be returned within 72 hours.
  10. Are there any limitations on screenplay length or content? There can be limitations if the script is not submitted with industry-standard formatting. We also have a policy that restricts overt sexual or gory/violent content.
  11. How is pricing determined for the image conversion service? We process on a per-page price.
  12. What is your policy on intellectual property rights for the images created? Our policy on intellectual property rights for the images created through Scriptmatix is designed to respect and protect the creative works of both the screenplay authors and our artistic team. The intellectual property rights of the original screenplay remain with the author or the legal rights holder. Our service does not claim any ownership over the screenplay itself. The images created by Scriptmatix based on the screenplay are original artistic works. As such, Scriptmatix retains the right to use these images for promotional purposes.
