Frequently Asked Questions…
Is this a screenplay contest?
The Scriptmatix Fellowship is a selective development and access program. While submissions are evaluated competitively, the goal is to identify writers ready for professional advancement, not simply award placements.
Winners, Finalists, Semi-Finalists, & Quarter Finalists will be awarded at the end of the season, and laurels will be provided.
What do I get if I purchase the Full Fellowship
Upon enrollment, you’ll immediately schedule your first session and begin a structured 90-day development program.
Your fellowship includes:
• Twelve (12) weekly 60-minute virtual development sessions with Mikhael Bassilli
• Direct mentorship tailored to your goals and current level
• Strategic guidance on concept, structure, character, execution, and industry positioning
• Full access to the Scriptmatix Writer Plan for the duration of the fellowship
• Ongoing accountability, assignments, and development direction between sessions
• A focused roadmap designed to elevate both your material and your professional readiness
The fellowship is designed to provide consistent, high-level guidance over three months, not just feedback, but forward momentum.

How many writers are selected?
The number of fellows varies each cycle depending on submission quality, but the fellowship will be capped at 12 individuals.
