We are thrilled to announce the results of the “Scriptmatix True Story Contest.” The response was overwhelming, with screenwriters from around the globe submitting their remarkable true story screenplays. The talent, creativity, and authenticity reflected in the submissions made the judging process both inspiring and challenging.
Without further ado, let’s unveil the results:
WINNER: “Prisoner of Heaven” by Douglas Rappaport
He was the greatest musician who ever lived… and you’ve probably never heard of him. The narrative centers on Nicolo Paganini’s life, beginning with his birth to deeply religious parents, who believe him to be blessed by God. As he grows into a renowned violinist, Paganini faces poverty, illness, and scandal, adding to the supernatural theme. Prisoner of Heaven is a period-piece but a modern fable about the price of fame.
